DICK (The underrated 90s comedy, featuring a fine Dan Hedaya in the role of Nixon - which seems to be a role one can't miss at; even Steven Seagal might make a convincing Tricky Dick)

You're the first person I've ever seen that came to the defense of FIST. It's actually one of those movies that makes me appreciate (and I never thought I'd ever type this) Schwarzenegger.
I'm dead serious and not being ironic.
Schwarzenegger is one of those people that don't receive enough credit for their achievements by the public. Personally, I always thought that in "Pumping Iron," he was one of the scariest and best film villains of all time. But he came to America a penniless immigrant and made a name in two fields: bodybuilding and then real estate, married a Kennedy and became the biggest star in the world, and he was just getting warmed up.
I have seen very few Schwarzenegger films (except for Errol Flynn, I can't stand action movies) but what strikes me about the few that I have seen is that they actually have a sense of humor, as opposed to the utterly self-important stuff that Stallone was doing at the same time, like, say, the near-unwatchable FIST.
